Based on the renewed successful DAkkS accreditation according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 of several new calibrators, our customers have benefited from a significant expansion of our calibration for flow measurement technology since the beginning of 2023. Specifically, we have increased the calibration range in the flow rate range from extremely small quantities from 0.5 ml/min up to a very high flow rate of 800 l/min. With this extension of our high standard, we offer our customers a high degree of reliability for the calibration of flow sensors for innovative applications and new technologies: We are well prepared for all possible challenges.
The dynamic development of technology in various sectors, such as the automotive or aerospace industries, is a planning challenge for many of our customers. Due to new procedures and newly defined processes, it is difficult to predict what challenges they will face in the future with regard to flow measurement. This makes reliable calibration of the measurement technology all the more important, even in extreme areas with very low or high flow rates: Measurement technology must deliver verifiably accurate results, especially for innovative processes.
NATEC has now expanded its calibration range with the accreditation of new calibrators precisely for these high demands, thus also creating a high level of reliability for the calibration of sensors for very low and very high flow rates. The minimum flow rate of 0.5 ml per minute corresponds to approximately 10 drops of water per minute or one drop every six seconds. The maximum flow rate of 800 L per minute corresponds to more than 4 bathtub fillings of 180 L per minute.
